National AIDS Trust announce ‘Only Madonna Can Judge Me’ t-shirt collaboration with Bimini and EVER PRESS!
Now, Bimini, one of UK drag’s biggest names, has designed the original ‘Only Madonna Can Judge Me’ slogan tee, which will be printed onto high-quality, ethically sourced EVERPRESS garments. The design can be ordered today, with profits going towards National AIDS Trust’s Drag Raise fundraising campaign. T-shirts, crop tops and vests are available.
The drag community has historically played an important role in HIV activism, challenging HIV-related stigma, as well as being a source of strength, relief, and support for communities living with, and affected by, HIV throughout the epidemic. National AIDS Trust launched Drag Raise to acknowledge the contributions of drag culture in the HIV response and in celebration of this coalition, while raising money to support the fight for HIV rights.
Madonna has long been an ally for people living with HIV and was one of the first musicians to advocate in response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic. The slogan Bimini has chosen reflects on this heritage in a relevant but witty way.
EVERPRESS has evolved beyond just a destination to shop unique products by a global community of artists; it’s become a vehicle to communicate ideas and champion causes for creativity in activism. Simon Backhouse, CEO of EVERPRESS, commented:
“We’re incredibly proud to be partnering once again with National AIDS Trust, this time supporting their Drag Raise campaign with Bimini. At EVERPRESS, our mission has always been to support creativity that drives change, and this collaboration is a perfect example of that. This design is more than just a t-shirt—it’s a statement of solidarity and a powerful tool for raising awareness. Bimini’s vision, combined with National AIDS Trust’s unwavering commitment to fighting HIV stigma, makes this collaboration very special to us. We love that EVERPRESS can be a platform where fashion meets activism, often helping to spread important messages far and wide.”- GOAT gift shop, featuring exclusive product and a selection of rare books curated by Hi-Bridge Books.
Robbie Currie, Chief Executive of National AIDS Trust, added:
“We are absolutely thrilled by this collaboration between our charity, Bimini and EVERPRESS.
“Bringing together of two iconic figures in popular culture, this stylish design will allow people to not only show their support for National AIDS Trust’s fight to end HIV stigma and end new transmissions, but also to reflect on the history of our movement and those who have stood with us across the years. The t-shirts also look fabulous!
“We would like to send our thanks to Bimini for the design, and modelling it so beautifully, and to EVERPRESS for giving us the platform to spread HIV awareness beyond our communities. The enthusiasm they’ve both had for this collaboration is truly wonderful and we’re so excited to see people wearing the design.”
