Say a big, warm hello to Zarah Elizabeth, second generation Jamaican, Londoner who’s debuting her new track“Sunrise”along with a new music video. Embarking on the scene with a sound that is lyrical, warm and healing. Through her music, she combines urban jazz sounds with R&B and spoken word.

We talk to Zarah about her transition from behind the camera as a stylist to taking the stage as a singer! Her new releases and whats next, a clear one 2 watch and we can’t wait to see more!

Hey, how are you today?

I'm good thank you! I finally have a day off which is nice :)

You’ve just dropped your first ever single “Sunrise” how does that feel?

It feels great, I’m so happy it's finally out!

Also your first ever music video, what was it like to be in front of the camera, instead of behind it?

That sounds crazy, it’s actually such a surreal feeling, as yes I am normally behind the camera, it felt weird at times like there were moments where I kept thinking to myself is this really happening haha a lot of “wtf” moments.

Up until now you’ve been known as a creative, working predominately as a stylist, what was it about now, 2023 that made you want to share your passion for music?

I feel like its been a long time coming as music has always been something I wanted to pursue, I had been working behind the scenes on my artistry and music  development for the last few years and I just thought if not now, when you know? It just felt like the right time.
