We’ve compiled a list of some of the standout songs we’ve had on repeat, as well as a full playlist down below so you can soundtrack your year with us!

Less Than Zero - The Weeknd

Bright synths, lush vocals and overall incredible production make this not only the best song on Dawn FM, but one of the best songs of the year.

X-Wing - Denzel Curry

And the award for best beat of the year goes to…. Seriously though, Denzel stepped up to a whole new level with his album Melt My Eyez, See Your Future.

Glimpse of Us - Joji

Every once in a while a heartwrenching piano ballad has the entire world in its feels. Who hurt you Joji?

N95 - Kendrick Lamar

5 years of waiting did not disappoint. The beat on this goes crazy, especially the gritty synth breakdown at the end of the song. The album as a whole is less accesible than his previous releases but still a phenominal release all round.

Skin and Bones - 070 Shake

An incredibly well-crafted song about love. Ethereal synths and a beautiful vocal performance make this a favourite from another fantastic 2022 album.

This Hell - Rina Sawayama

Pop-perfection. The guitar, the melody, the nostalgic 90’s and early 2000’s references; it’s an amazing song

DFRNT. - Nerve

Infectious beat and great bars from the Aussie icon.

SAOKO - Rosalía

One of the catchiest instrumentals of the year; It really just makes you want to dance.

Starlight - Dave

Catchy hook, smooth bars and a beautiful flip of a classic song as the sample

Diet Coke - Pusha T

Pusha T keeps on proving his relevance in the G.O.A.T discussion, with this album being a top release of the year.
