HEZRON BROWN
In short, when Hezron was 5 years old he had a horrific accident leaving him scarred for life, which lead to bullying in primary school, and in return, he developed a bad anger problem. After difficulties controlling his temper, Hezron was kicked out of his home and spent the majority of his teen life homeless. As there was no one to guide him in the right direction he slowly transitioned into gang culture where he led a life of crime. Due to nearly being sent to prison, yet being saved by a judge, who saw potential in him turning his life around. Hezron decided to take this gift to change, seriously, and actively pursued turning his life around for the better. Investing in himself, he gained skills in theatre and got involved with the Prince’s Trust where he became an ambassador and won the ambassador of the year award! After this great success, he was invited to Buckingham palace where he met HRH Prince Charles for the first time, he now contributes to the discussions and meetings around youth crime. Hezron has won multiple awards for his work, one of the biggest to date was being crowned the Pride of Britain, young achiever of the year 2019. He now spends his time going to schools, conferences and making motivational speeches to educate young people all over England about the realities of gang culture and the struggles choosing this path will bring.
